Adina has a Masters of Arts in Counselling from Yorkville University and a Masters of Science in Health Psychology from the University of Bath in the UK. Adina took a special interest in Somatic Therapy and has training and certification in The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). CRM is a trauma therapy model that can treat a wide range of issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Impulsivity, Emotional Dysregulation and more. Adina is experienced in working with the general population and well as Addictions and Motor Vehicle Accidents.
She believes that healing occurs when the body and the brain enter a state of safety and relaxation, where painful, stressful, and perhaps traumatic material becomes conscious in a way that the brain can process the information and release the pain. Ones this happens, the body no longer needs to consume energy to repress, manage or distort those unwanted emotions.
Adina is warm and adopts a non-judmental approach any problem.
Outside of work, she loves singing and enjoys long walks in nature with her dog, Ryder.
